Moleskine, long known for their line of awesome notebooks, is bringing things into the future with the new Livescribe Notebook. The notebooks, which are compatible with the Livescribe Smartpen, allow you to take notes in your Moleskine and they instantly appear in digital form within the companion app on your smartphone. All of your handwriting will be converted to digital text, no matter if you're taking notes for school, work, or just making a simple shopping list. You can link notes with recorded audio and tag & flag items with ease.

The new notebooks are available now for pre-order for $29.95 and come in both #1 and #2 varieties. They are set to ship on November 1st, so only a few months until you can get your hands on one. I'm a big Moleskine fan, so I just might have to add one (or more) of these to my arsenal. Hit up the link below for more info or to pre-order.

I like it! Just not sure I could justify spending that much on a notebook when I can just put something in Evernote easily.

My son got a livescribe for college but I haven't got to play as we shipped it to him at school.
