Set to ship in late February, the COGITO POP is now available for pre-order for $129. The POP is available in Black Mamba, Black Panter, Grey Paloma, Blue Electric, Raspberry Crush and White Crisp. The watches are compatible with iOS and Android devices and feature notifications for phone calls, text messages, email, Twitter and more.
The COGITO POP is a more fun, casual version of the COGITO gear toward teens and active users that want a bit of fun style on their wrist.
The watch acts as an extension of the phone, not a replacement for it. Users can customize settings based on their priorities and select which notifications they want to appear on their wrist. LED icons on the watch face can alert users when they have a call, an email or a message on social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and more.
The easy-to-use interface lets users manage not just calls, but also trigger their camera, control their music and locate their phone. Already burdened by bulky chargers, users do not need to remember to recharge their watch every night. COGITO POP runs on a conventional button-cell battery, powering the watch for well over one year without requiring a recharge. The battery, when necessary, can be replaced easily like any other conventional watch battery.
We did get a chance to go hands-on with both the COGITO and COGITO POP at CES this year, so if you haven't checked that out you can swing by the post and take a look.
