Sony will launch Powers, its first television series made exclusively for owners of its PlayStation consoles, on March 10. The first episode will be released for free but all the others in the 10-episode first season will only be accessible with a paid PlayStation Plus subscription, which costs $9.99 a month or $49.99 a year.
Sony will release the first three episodes of Powers on March 10, with a new episode debuting every Tuesday until the first season is complete. Powers is based on the acclaimed comic book from writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Michael Avon Oeming, which follows two homicide detectives who investigate people with "powers" (Think Law and Order with super heroes). The cast includes actors like Sharlto Copley, Michelle Forbes and Eddie Izzard.
