Fitbit is a sharp, relatively new device manufacturer that makes fitness tracking devices. These include wearables like a watch and clip, as well as a scale. The line of Fitbit fitness trackers includes the Charge, Charge HR, Surge, Force, Flex, Zip, and One. The Fitbit Force made news when it was found to cause rashes on users and thus was recalled for a full refund.
Fitbit devices track various activities like calories burned, steps, miles, stairs climbed and even sleep (for some devices). The trackers are either worn in a clip (on your belt or pocket) or in a wristband. Each device syncs to a smartphone app or PC and shows data on the Fitbit dashboard (available on both web and app). Here, users can view stats as well as see friends who are also Fitbit users.
