If you've been having some issues with the 2.0 firmware on your Pebble and/or the Pebble appstore on your Android device, one option you may want to consider is downgrading to the last stable 1.X version for a while. Dropping down can save you a lot of connection and battery life headaches, and give you stability until the 2.0 versions are a bit improved.
For Android users this just means removing the Pebble App Store from your device, installing version 1.9.6 of the Pebble app available here and putting your Pebble into recovery mode. In just a few minutes you can be back up and running with a stable watch, only lacking the 2.0 features.
Here's how to get it done:
Once your watch kicks in, you'll be asked to pair again and connect to the app, after which you'll be back up and running. Keep in mind that you will lose your installed apps & faces and you'll no longer have access to the Pebble appstore. You can upgrade again at any time by simply updating the app through Google Play.
