How to get Google Now on your Pebble Smartwatch

Want Google Now notifications on your Pebble? Here's how to do it!

Google Now is one of my favorite features on Android. I find myself getting all kinds of useful info throughout the day — everything from weather to shows to watch to travel time back home. It's a great service that only seems to get better as time goes by. It's available on Android and iOS devices, but did you know that you can also get Google Now updates on your Pebble?

If you have an Android device it's super easy to setup. All you need to do is grab my favorite Pebble app, Pebble Notifier, from Google Play. Once you get that installed, run through the setup to get things going. Make sure that when you're choosing your app notifications you select Google Search. This is what will send your Google Now notifications to your Pebble.

So you'll get alerts for weather, sports updates, travels times and other goodies. Just keep in mind that these may happen quite often — whenever you get new cards you'll also get an alert. So choose wisely.

That's that — if you have any other great Pebble tips like this be sure to let us know!

Light Flow works great too, it also lets you select only the Google Now notifications you want sent to the pebble indiviually

I am also using Light Flow so that I can choose what Google Now notifications I want to receive on my pebble.

Nice! I finally pulled the trigger and purchased a Pebble today, this was the last piece of the puzzle I was looking for information on. Nothing from MWC convinced me otherwise...

Man I really wish there was a Google Now service on BlackBerry. That's about the only thing I miss from the Android world.
