How to unload apps from the Pebble smartwatch

Searching the Pebble appstore can be a ton of fun — clicking install is just so easy — but the unfortunate fact is that eventually you are going to run out of room on your watch. The Pebble smartwatch holds only 8 installed applications or watch faces currently, and those can quickly fill up —  but luckily removing them is quite an easy process. With the recent update to the Pebble application on iOS and Android, with just a few clicks you can free up some space on your Pebble for a new app or watch face.

To unload an application from your Pebble you will want to follow these simple steps.

  1. Launch the Pebble app
  2. Scroll through the list to find the app you wish to remove
  3. Tap on the app, then click unload

Once an app has been unloaded it will move from your Pebble to the locker within the application. With the applications moving to the locker it makes them quick and easy to find again if you want to load them again at a later time without having to search for it again.

That's all there is to it, so if you have been loading up your Pebble or filled it and weren't sure how to free it up again without having to reset it, now you can easily remove whichever app you prefer with just a few button presses.

How to unload apps from the Pebble smartwatch

Don't think so. It's just a storage so you know what's already been downloaded before.

Something I've discovered using my Pebble, if there is an update for an app, and I unload it to the locker, once reloading it I get the update automatically. Not a big deal, but I don't think it simply unloads and reloads. More is happening here than I originally thought.

I'm new pebble owner so this might be a silly question. I have 3 loaded watchfaces that I would like to unload but they don't have an unload option? Suggestions??
