Like many of us, Myiam Joire was astounded at the popularity of Pebble on Kickstarter. So much so that when she was called up by Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky and asked to be a Product Evangelist, she jumped at the chance.
During our visit to Pebble HQ in Palo Alto, we found out plenty about the history of Pebble, where they're at and where they're going. Rene Ritchie got to sit down with Myriam and find out even more about the Pebble watch and its users.
Myriam explains how she was never really a watch wearer, but the Pebble gives her a different outlook now. Colors matter, design matters and of course the user experience matters. Pebble hopes to make it "the watch" that is connected to your device yet stays true to their roots. "You won't even think about it anymore — it's just there."
Myriam spends her days telling people about Pebble, converting them from watch or non-watch people to Pebble people — "basically I'm selling drugs."
If you've been waiting on checking out a Pebble, be sure to watch this one and see if you aren't won over by the time it's done.
