There's a lot of cool technology coming out this year and LG has yet another announcement to add to the list. The company has today unveiled its new super-flexible displays, showing off a rather bendy 18-inch OLED panel, as well as a new transparent display. These advancements will create new opportunities for the company and provide room for consumers to customize their TV deployment.

The flexible display can be rolled up to a radius of 3cm, making BYOT (bring your own TV) a reality when it comes to visiting friends and requiring an entertainment system. LG believes it can create displays up to 50-inches with the ability to bend.

Transparent LG Display

As for transparent displays, LG has been able to increase light transmittance to 30 percent, reducing hazy quality in images. The company compares this advancement with just 10 percent light transmittance currently available in transparent LCD displays. They're cool products to say the least and we're sure many are just waiting to get their hands on one to play with.

Are you happy with your current TV, or would you want one that flexes or is transparent?
