LifeTrak has announced a new iOS and Android app for tracking all of the usual biometric data: heart rate, steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned, total sleep hours, and more. LifeTrak watches already work with some fairly impressive apps, like Argus and MapMyFitness, but it's great to see something native available. The app lets users track their personal fitness trends and keep tabs on whether they're meeting their goals.

We got a good close look at LifeTrak's next fitness watch back at CES, and it stands to earn big points for long battery life and waterproof build. As is, the new apps work with their C300 and C410 watches. The Android version of LifeTrak can be found in Google Play here, and the iOS version is here in the App Store. Anyone here using a LifeTrak watch? Are you happy with the native app for your fitness band?
