Running out of ink isn't fun, especially when you have a big school or work assignment due. Epson has a new line of printers coming out soon that will hopefully help make those occurrences happen less often. The new Eco Tank line of printers come with a lot of ink right out of the box. How much ink? Epson claims up to two full years of ink, based on printing roughly 150 pages per month. That's quite a bit!

The catch? These Eco Tank printers aren't cheap. However, as Wilson Rothmans from the Wall Street Journal shows us, over the course of time, the Eco Tank printers still bring in cost savings and convenience over the cheaper traditional printers.

There are 5 different Eco Tank printers to choose from. The Entry level 2500 or 2550 series printers will set you back $379.99 or $399.99 on Amazon, and should be enough for standard home use. The 4500 and 4550 series are business setting printers. Those will set you back $429.99 or $499.99 respectively. If you want the Office equivalent power-horse, it's the WF-R4640 model which costs a hefty $1199.99 but can print up to 20,0000 color or black pages before needing an ink popup. Amazon is currently taking pre-orders, and expects to start shipping these printers August 24th.
