Parrot has introduced a new generation of its MiniDrones, including new Jumping, Airborne, and Hydrofoil series drones. When it comes to drones, the French company Parrot is one of the more well known companies, and its latest offerings bring even more options to consumers. In the Jumping Drones category, the company has introduced the Jumping Night and Jumping Race. Both units retail for $189.99, and have retractable wheels, a programmable road plan, and much more.
In the Airborne Drone series, Parrot has released the Airborne Night and Airborne Cargo, with the Night selling for $129, and the Cargo for $99. With the Airborne series, Parrot has packed the units full of sensors, including an ultrasound sensor, 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope, along with a vertical camera. Finally, the Hydrofoil Drone is one that can rise out of the water, and hover over the surface. With a price tag of $179.99, the Hydrofoil Drone can get up to 11 mph in the air, and 6 mph in water, but features only 7 minutes of battery life.
