It's been a while now since Parrot first announced the coming of their MiniDrones, and tomorrow you'll finally be able to get your hands on one. Starting Friday, both the Rolling Spider and Jumping Sumo will be available in a variety of retail stores (and assumedly online) for $99 and $159 respectively. Best Buy, Brookstone, the Apple Store and Sprint will all be carrying the latest connected toys just in time to have some late-summer fun.

The Rolling Spider is a small version of Parrot's A.R. Drone, featuring a detachable set of wheels for rolling along floors, up the wall or on the ceiling. The Jumping Sumo rolls around at 2m/s, does quick 180 degree turns, stops on a dime and of course jumps all over the place. Each of these will be available in a few different styles.

Will you be picking up a Rolling Spider or Jumping Sumo? Hit up the comments and let us know!

I haven't had a chance to play with either yet - but based on my experience with the AR Drone 2.0, the Rolling Spider will be awesome. Personally, I'm going to pick up the Jumping Sumo - think it will be better for my younger kids - mainly because I'm afraid they'd fly the drone into my face.
