By Adam Zeis on 18 Dec 2013 12:51 pm

Today Pebble announced that the Pebble appstore will be coming to Android and iOS devices in early 2014. The store will be included in the official Pebble app on iOS and Android and will allow users to browse and install watchfaces and companion apps for their Pebble watch. The official apps will give the users access to the store where they can install apps to a connected Pebble watch.

The Pebble appstore includes 7 categories in all — Daily, Remotes, Games, Notifications, Trackers, Tools & Utilities, Sports & Fitness and Watchfaces. Developers will be able to submit apps to the store free of charge and all apps will be free to download as well.

The addition of an official App Store for Pebble will solidify the watch maker as a leader in the SmartWatch arena. I am glad that I chose Pebble as my SmartWatch!

Great idea! I just got my pebble on Christmas and the App works great on my Z10 with 10.2.1 (for installing watch faces). I'm looking forward to an easier way to access watch faces and apps then going to a separate website.

can you guys get the mobile nations channel in pocketcasts refreshed to include this please? or however your podcast trickery works :D

edit: found it, doh!
