Today the Pebble team dropped the official Pebble appstore for iOS users, but sadly there was no Android version to tag along. While it's due out "very soon", there is still some good news for Android users right now.

Pebble has just released a beta version of the Android app that does include the Pebble appstore. It's not quite 100% yet, but for those of you who just can't wait to get in on the fun — this is your ticket. There are some known issues such as problems with Bluetooth pairing and loading apps, but if you're willing to give it a go and have registered for a developer account, you can snag it from the link below.

If you fire it up be sure to drop a comment here and let us know how it's working for you!

Sweet.. kinda works on my Z30 as well for loading faces and apps. Nowhere near perfectly mind you but it does the trick for some things.

My biggest question is does it give full functionality when running on the BlackBerry? Do you get caller ID or is that still not possible?

I am using it. A bit slow, but the design is great. I am sure they will tweak things and get it running smoothly. Important things are working great though. Recognized my Pebble no issue and I am trying a new watchface I found. Futura Weather. Futura is my favorite font :D

The lag is a little tough but manageable. Definitely needs some optimization but it will get there. It's the IOS version like this?

Lag is tough but layout is really nice it is only going to get better as we move along. Did not see espn app which i was looking forward to trying.

Yeah like everyone says its lagging but I'm happy that they showed android a little love...I know a lot of people were disappointed that iOS was first...love the design...some apps aren't working for me like yelp...foursquare works flawlessly...its still beta and I'm happy to test it out.

Ya new Appstore is great, definitely a little lagging but hopefully everything gets fine tuned. For some reason just couldn't get the yelp app to work but everything else worked good.
