The Pebble Steel has finally arrived in Hong Kong and is available for those who have been patiently awaiting the arrival of the smartwatch in a more premium housing. Priced at HK $2,198 (around $285), the Pebble Steel is a rather expensive investment for many, but both the matte black and stainless silver options available really make up for the cost.

Not only has Engadget learned of pricing for Hong Kong (as well as its release), but also some details surrounding when Chinese consumers will be able to enjoy the Pebble Steel. Chinese support is expected this coming October. Who's looking to pick one up in these regions? Let us know in the comments.

What does "Chinese support" mean in a device that does not have enough ROM/RAM space to support chinese fonts ?
Is the companion APP going to de doing local bitmap rendering and pushing bitmaps to the pebble ?
