If you have been waiting to get a PlayStation 4 in the US, you should wait one more day before making your purchase. Sony has announced that starting on starting on Friday, October 9, the price of the PlayStation 4 will be cut by $50 to $349.99. It's the first such price cut for the console since it launched in the US in November 2013.
The Canadian price for the console will also be reduced from CAD $449.99 to CAD $429.99 starting on Friday. In addition, prices for a number of current and upcoming PlayStation 4 console bundles have been reduced as well. That includes the 1TB Call of Duty: Black Ops III Limited Edition version, which will cost $429.99 in the US starting Friday compared to $449.99.
