According to recent documents filed with the US Federal Communications Commission, Sony may soon sell a version of its PlayStation 4 console with a 1TB internal hard drive. Currently, the console is only sold with a 500GB hard drive.
Sony also filed a second PlayStation 4 document with the FCC for a version of the console with the regular 500GB hard drive, but it weighs a bit less and uses a little less power than the current model in stores. It's likely that Sony is waiting for E3 2015 in mid-June to reveal both new models. So far, there's no word on the prices for these revamped PlayStation 4 consoles. Sony has not lowered the price on the current edition since it launched in November 2013.
