PlayStation Now

The PlayStation Now game streaming service from Sony is now available in an open beta in the UK. The expansion comes nearly a year after the open beta began in the US in August 2014.

The UK version allows users to rent PlayStation 3 games that can be streamed, rather than downloaded for between two to 30 days. Rental prices range £2.99 to £7.99. Some of the games available on PlayStation Now include Bioshock Infinite, Final Fantasy XIII, Tomb Raider Underworld, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Dead Space and Mirror's Edge. The service is currently supported on the PlayStation 4 as well as a number of Sony's Bravia TVs. Sony plans to offer a subscription service, where users can access a number of games for as long as they want for a monthly fee, later this summer in the UK.
