First announced at Mobile World Congress, the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit are Samsung's next line of wearable tech. At the time no pricing was announced but Samsung has now revealed these details. The Gear 2 will be priced at $295, not much lower than the original Gear when it first launched. The Gear Fit, Samsung's leap into fitness wear, will be priced at $197.

There are no pricing details yet for the Gear 2 Neo but we could see them sell for $250 according to The Korea Herald.

I like the look of the Gear 2, even the Gear 2 Neo, just a little disappointed that they are compatible with Samsung Galaxy devices right now. Are you interested the this second generation Gear? Will you be purchasing one come April? Hit up the comments.

You can check out our hands-on with the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit from Mobile World Congress.

Kinda hard to get excited about this considering the Android Wear news yesterday. Great for Samsung die hard fans with plenty of disposable income but for everyone else...

I have a Note 3, and if the question is "Will you be purchasing one in April", my answer is a resounding NO! Even though the form factor was better than the Pebble, the Pebble was much cheaper and did exactly what I needed. I would have gotten a Pebble Steel, but once they began the "shipping date games" , it turned me off to them as well and I canceled my order. Now with the Moto 360 coming out and other Android Wear, I am waiting a bit longer to see other offerings from Smartwatch manufacturing....but Pebble Steel and Samsung's Gear and Neo are no longer my radar or shopping list. I feel better things are coming and I will simply wait to see what develops.

I want the Gear Fit but I am not paying that price when my fitbit works just fine for now. Bring the price down and then maybe

Anyone who buys a smartwatch now, before the launch of the upcoming 360 and others like it, are either uninformed, fools, or getting a spectacular discount.

I agree. Until now I was moderately interested in the Gear 2 Neo. Now I'll definitely wait a bit to see what happens with Android Wear and the Moto 360.

Samsung shot themselves in the foot by making this only compatible with Samsung phones, not to mention the Gear 2 sitting outside of the sweet spot of smartwatch prices IMO. LG and Motorola will eat Samsung alive when their watches come out...until Samsung themselves comes out with their version of Android Wear.

I have a Pebble and was minorly interested in the Gear 2. However, like others, I'm more excited about the Moto 360 with Android Wear and can definately wait for that!

How can they justify these prices,I was hoping the prices would be more realistic. These are really nice item's and I will admitt I was very interested in the gear fit,but at these prices, I wouldn't be able to enjoy it knowing I was sucker. They want premium profit for a companion item, somebody at Samsung was hit with a stupid stick. They have made sure these items will not become main stream.
