The highly anticipated iPhone 6s will be released in just a matter of days, and many of our favourite sites have gotten some time with their demo units. We are finally beginning to get answers to those common questions we all have. How is the camera? How is battery life? How is 3D touch? Here is a quick little round-up of some of the best reviewers on the net taking a look at the new iPhone 6s and 6S +.

New 12-megapixel shooter is now capable of crisper photos and 4K video, which I, of course, enabled first thing when I got it. With the iPhone 6 S Plus, we also get optical stabilization, which should help with overall crispiness, video and low-light shooting a lot. My initial impression of this camera is, wow this thing is fast, and the photos it takes look very natural and very true to life.

Battery life is only worth mentioning in that there has been some talk about a slight reduction in battery size for the iPhone 6s. I don't know about that, but I can say that battery life is spec'd to be exactly the same by Apple and that's the way it felt. Going from a heavy day of email, shooting pictures of my kid, meetings at companies like Facebook, video at a baseball game and late night Slacking all felt roughly identical on the iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6s Plus. No appreciable difference. To bed at around 20% with no charging during the day. If there's any change in battery size, it's likely more than made up for by the new power saving features in iOS 9.

It's time Apple to not make your base model have only 16-gigabytes of storage. It should be at least 32-gigabytes, and it shouldn't cost more for the base model than it does now. All in all, I don't have any big complaints about this, and I think this is a terrific product.
4. The Verge
"The iPhone 6S is the best iPhone ever and probably the best phone ever."
5. Bloomberg Business
The best things about the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus aren't all the new things that grab your attention; it's all the stuff in the background that you never notice.
6. WallStreet Journal
If you have an iPhone 6, you won't be overly jealous of those who get a 6s—maybe just a tad envious of those Live Photos. If your iPhone is more than two years old, this is the phone to get. Just make sure to pay Apple's ransom for the 64GB version. The story of the iPhone 6s is the same as the 5s, or the 4s before it. It is a slightly better iPhone—that must be what the S stands for. And like its "S" predecessors, it doesn't address all complaints. That's what the iPhone 7 is for—right, Apple?
3D touch is something that once you use, you won't be able to stop using.
