The 2nd Generation ZenWatch is upon us, and we are finally learning all the details about it. While not going through a dramatic design change, the new Android Wear watch is offering a lot of other changes.

This time around, the ZenWatch 2 will be offered in two different sizes. The full-sized 49mm version, and a smaller and perhaps more female friendly 45mm option. While the shape is still the same rounded rectangular design seen on the original, a new physical side button is present. It doesn't turn like the Apple Watch, but will wake and power the device and perhaps do more later on. There is a new magnetic charging cable, and IP67 water resistance has been added.

The larger 48mm versions feature a 400 mAh battery and a 1.63-inch 320x320 AMOLED display. Its smaller counterpart features 300 mAh of battery power and a contracted 1.45-inch 280x280 AMOLED. The ZenWatch 2 will support WiFi, and offers faster charging - up to 50% in 30 minutes. We also know it will be available worldwide in October and is priced starting at €149 (roughly $170) for the 49mm and €169 ($190) for the 45mm. It will be offered in three different colors of steel chassis - gunmetal, silver or gold. In total, there will be about 18 different combinations of strap and body color to choose from. With Android Wear now on iOS devices, there will be another option for iPhone users to accessories their wrists.
