Sony will begin selling its PlayStation 4 and PS Vita game consoles in China for the first time on January 11. The price for the PlayStation 4 will be CNY 2,999 ($487) in that country, while the PS Vita will be priced at CNY 1,299 ($210)
Gamers in China can expect to see a number of third party games for both consoles published from local developers as well as from Western companies like EA, Ubisoft and others. The expansion into China follows a recent decision from that country's government to end a 10 year sales ban of Western game consoles. Microsoft began selling its Xbox One console in China a few months ago.
