The UDOO is a single-board computer development platform. A joint effort of SECO USA and Aidilab, together with a team of researchers, developed and created the UDOO with the help of Kickstarter backing.
Launched in April of 2013 as a Kickstarter project, the UDOO project was fully subscribed by the end of their launch period. The Kickstarter was setup to give backers the opportunity to get on board and support the project, along with early access to purchase units at deep discounts.
The UDOO itself features a dual or quad core ARM Freescale CortexA9 i.MX.6 CPU and an Arduino compatible board. The board is embedded with a dedicated ARM Atmel SAM3X8E CPU. On board you also find 1 GB DDR3, 76 fully available GPIO, HDMI and LVDS + Touch, 10/100/1000 Ethernet RJ45, Wifi, mini USB, mini USB OTG, Analog audio and mic, camera connection, micro SD, a 12 volt power supply, external battery connecter, and more.
