As previously reported, Apple has now sent invites to a press event scheduled for September 9 in Cupertino, California and the company is rumored to officially reveal their first wearable device during that event, which has come to be called the "iWatch" by the media.

Apple's invites in the past usually offer a tiny teaser of what might be revealed during their press events, but this one doesn't have any obvious clues, although that hasn't stopped some folks on the Internet from speculating anyway.

Apple is already doing something different for this press conference as it is actually constructing a three story building at the event's location on the grounds of the Flint Center for the Performing Arts at De Anza College. Mobile Nations' sister site iMore will be attending the event so stay tuned in the coming days for more information on what could be Apple's biggest product reveal in years.

After seeing android watch after android watch be teased, as an ios user it sure would be nice for apple to show off something killer. Though it would be funny if they don't... and there's another years worth of rumors and "release date" guesses.
