AT&T will begin taking its own pre-orders for the Timex Ironman One GPS+ on Friday, November 7 in its retail stores. It will also start pre-orders for the smartwatch on November 10 at its website.

The price for the device will remain at $399.99 and AT&T will offer buyers one free year of data service for the Timex Ironman One GPS+. The carriers has not announced when shipments will begin for the smartwatch, which has a 1.5-inch display, 4 GB of storage and a battery life of up to eight hours. The Timex Ironman One GPS+ can also connect directly to AT&T's network so it doesn't need a smartphone like other smartwatches require.

Are you interested in the Timex Ironman One GPS+, even with its rather steep price?

Considering I just paid $100 less for a better item and functionality, I'll stick with my Gear S

I like the Gear S too, but unfortunately like the Gear and Gear 2, not compatible with non-Samsung devices. :-(
