HeadWatch is not just a smartwatch, it's also a Bluetooth headset

HeadWatch is one of the latest ventures to hit Indiegogo. The device itself is packing many of the standard features including a touchscreen, various sensors, gesture recognition and a cool, modern design. One thing that sets it apart from the rest however is that it's not just a smartwatch — it's also a Bluetooth headset.

It's quite an oddity when you think of all the Bluetooth headsets on the market, or the fact that more and more watches let you make voice calls right on your wrist. The HeadWatch actually detaches from the band and lets you clip it on your ear — seriously. So if you thought that you got funny looks talking to your watch, imagine the glares you'll get with this hardware stuck to your ear.

Special functions aside, it does look like a nice device. You can check out the video above for more details.

Head over to Indiegogo to get in on the action.

Waterproof is a marketing term that may be used to describe this device. It's submersible in a meter of water.

So is this watch going to be cross platform. Because that phone on the table in the video sure looks like a iPhone.

Hasn't Hwawei already demoed a smart watch thingy that doubles as a Bluetooth headset at the recent WMC in Barcelona?
