Martian set to debut new features at Mobile World Congress

By Adam Zeis on 17 Feb 2014 07:41 pm

Today Martian dropped word that they will be hitting up Mobile World Congress with some goodies for the European market. In addition to showcasing their Martian Notifier, they'll also be introducing some new features for their voice-command line of watches. We're not sure just what's in store for the update but we're definitely anxious to see what's new.

The Martian Notifier (which we saw at CES this year) is one of the watches we're most looking forward to this year. The Notifier features an OLED display that shows alerts for phone calls, SMS, email, Facebook, Twitter and other services, and also allows for custom vibrations for notifications — something that we haven't seen any other watches do yet. The notifier is due out in Q2 of this year and will retail for $129.

We'll be at MWC in full force to check out Martian and all of the other great smartwatches in just about a week, so don't go too far!

Out of all the smart watches I own, I feel like my Martian Victory, right now, is the perfect mix of fashion and function. The updated app will solve most of the problems I have with notifications as well.
