Not one to let Oculus, Samsung, and Google have all the fun, Microsoft is rumored to be working on their own virtual reality headset. The as-yet-unnamed headset is said to work with the Xbox One console and is reportedly even already in the hands of some Xbox game developers.

According to VR Focus, the headset isn't expected to be revealed until 2015, possibly not until the E3 gaming conference in June, so it could be a good while before we see the fruits of Microsoft's labors. Microsoft's also going up against Sony here, who announced their own Project Morpheus VR headset for the PlayStation 4, although there's no timeframe for when that will see the market either.

This will be awesome for gaming and movie watching. Can't wait.

May even bring the price of Big Screens down even further. With VR you basically are getting an IMAX experience. Especially with 2K screens and possible 4K screens on larger smart phones.
