Verizon Wireless has put the metal-banded version of the Moto 360 smartwatch up for pre-order. Both the white (steel) and black versions will be available for $299.99, Verizon says that they will ship by November 11 of this year.

The Moto 360, now on sale, was originally introduced with both leather and metal bands, with the leather-banded models shipping first. If you have a leather strap and want to change it for Motorola's metal band, you'll need to fork over another $79.99 on top of the $249.99 you've already paid for the Moto 360. You can elect to change out the included band with any 22mm strap, but Motorola says that old, third-party straps might not look as good due to the round shape of the watch.

Have you been waiting on the all-metal Moto 360, and will you be pre-ordering one from Verizon? Let us know below in the comments.

Is that the actual bracelet the 360 will ship with? If so, it's nothing more than a standard 3 link divers bracelet. Certainly not what they were showing renderings of on their website. Very disappointing if this is the case. Plus, a huge mismatch in terms of case design and bracelet design. I hope they come with something a bit more upscale in looks and design.

You can also order the leather band version on Verizon for shipping 10/28. I wonder why one needs to wait almost 2 months when the watch is available now? Could this maybe coincide with when the Moto X comes to Verizon?
