Mysterious countdown appears on the Pebble homepage

By Rich Edmonds on 19 Feb 2015 08:19 am

There's a countdown currently ticking away on the Pebble homepage. We haven't the foggiest idea as to what it's counting down for. But what we do know, however, is when the timer will end. Tuesday, February 24 at 2PM GMT (9AM EST) will see the company announce or unveil something for the community. For now, we can only speculate.

Some believe this could well be Windows Phone support on the horizon. It's certainly a possibility. The company also has new products on the way for this year. What do you think the countdown is counting down for? Let us know your ideas (and what you're hoping for) in the comments. Oh, and you can register for whatever Pebble has to announce on their website.

Before the speculation starts, I just wanted to point out that the countdown is running down to 10AM EST.

Fingers crossed for new hardware!

Yeah, new hardware would be the ticket. I'm starting to be tempted by the likes of Sony Smartwatch 3 Stainless Steel Edition. An announcement of slick new Pebble hardware might keep me from straying.

Really hoping for a triton eink color display! If you tweet the countdown there's a the phrase "color me interested!" in the auto tweet! A clue?
