Sony will launch the open beta test of its PlayStation Now gaming streaming service for the PlayStation TV set top box when it goes on sale in the US on October 14.

The service is already available for owners of the PS3 and PS4 consoles and next week it will expand to the PlayStation TV and the portable PS Vita console. It will allow users to rent from a library of over 150 PS3 titles that can be streaming to the two devices.

The PlayStation TV box will sell for $99 when it comes out next week, and a special $139.99 bundle will add a free game and a DualShock 3 controller to the mix. Will you be using the PlayStation Now service for the PlayStation TV box?
