The Razer Nabu smartband, which was first announced at CES 2014 in January, may finally be getting close to an actual public launch as the device has received approval from the Federal Communications Commission.

While the filing doesn't reveal any additional details about the smartband, it does represent the first bit of news about the Razer Nabu in some time. The company previously announced a beta program in June where 500 lucky folks would get a prototype sent to them for the price of just $1. Since then, there's been no real updates on its progress. Hopefully this FCC listing means Razer will be announcing some launch news, along with a final price tag, on this smartband in the near future. Will you try out the Razer Nabu when it comes out?

I will be trying out the Razer Nabu when it comes out. Especially when i can use it with any new phone i purchase in the future.

I hope this comes out in the same colors as the Kraken. I'll buy it if it does, so I can color match with my Backpack and Krakens.... If not... I'll buy green Krakens and a new Backpack. Regardless I'm getting this.
