The Revolv team has just announced a new partnership with IFTTT (If This Then That) to give owners of the home automation hub a way to "access deeper, more sophisticated control over their Revolv Smart Home Solution."

The press release points out that many of the smart home devices that Revolv supports already have their own IFTTT "Channels". It added:

Our initial integration with the service will will focus on external web services that trigger Revolv Actions. For example: "When I receive a call on my smartphone, activate my "Phone Call Action", which pauses my SONOS music and turns my Hue lights to a relaxing orange." During our next phase of development, we'll add triggers from the Revolv App.

What do you think of this new feature for Revolv owners?
