Today is the first anniversary of the launch of the PlayStation 4, and this week Sony announced that it has shipped 13.5 million units of its latest game console worldwide during its first year.

Sony used an infographic to help celebrate the occasion, which showed, among other things, that PlayStation 4 owners have played 1 billion hours online. It also shows that there are now 56 million active users of Sony's PlayStation Network and that 7.9 million of them are signed up for the paid PlayStation Plus service. Sony said it has seen a 270 percent increase in PlayStation Plus subscriptions since the launch of the PlayStation 4, but that might have to do with the fact that Sony made it a requirement to play online games on their new console with a PlayStation Plus account.

What's your experience been like with the PlayStation 4 so far?

I just wish they'd fix the PSN. The delay on messaging (if they go through) is ridiculous at this point.
