Sony's PlayStation 4 and PS Vita consoles to launch in China on March 20

Sony will launch both its PlayStation 4 game console and its portable PS Vita in China on March 20. Sony previously announced plans to release the PlayStation 4 in that country on January 11 but later announced that the launch date had been pushed back.

Sony will sell the PlayStation 4 in both its jet black and glacier white versions for CNY 2,999 ($479).in China. Launch games for the console will include Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition, King of Wushu: Free Early Access Edition, Knack, Mr. Pumpkin Adventure, Rayman Legends, and Trials Fusion.

The PlayStation 4 and PS Vita join Microsoft's Xbox One console, which launched in China in October. The release of these Western-based consoles in that country came about after the government ended a sales ban on such devices in early 2014.
